CamVerce Recorder: Recorder Features: Change audio devices: Computer Sound
Recorder has a few more features which the recording wizard doesn'tt.
You can change the sound device you have selected during the installation to a different one from the Recorder.
Click the Tools menu and select Computer Sound Options to pull up the Computer Sound settings window. From this window, you can select a device to record the sound coming from your computer.
When you click the “Play” button, you will hear a sample sound. Select devices one at a time from the Devices box. When you see sound waves in the Show Wave box, you know you can use that device. Adjust the volume for the device and click the OK button to record sound.
You may see waves from more than one sound device, depending on your sound card. We recommend you to go with a device that has larger waves. Generally, device names starting with Stereo or Mono are better sound devices than others for recording sound.
If you have more than one sound card installed on your computer, you need to select the card from the Mixer Devices drop down menu and select a device for each Mixer device.
If you have a webcam with an integrated microphone connected to your computer, it is possible for you to see two mixer devices in the Mixer Devices drop down menu. We recommend you to unplug your webcam for best recording results.
