CamVerce Studio: Frame Editing: Cut, copy, paste, delete and extend frames

There are 5 frame editing features and they are cut, copy, paste, delete and extend. Everything  except extending frame can be done in the same way. Frame editing will help you to delete unnecessary frames or copy frames you want to reuse.

Please note that if you are changing frames which contain objects, the objects will be deleted. In order to copy, paste or delete frames, you have to select the frame first.

If there are objects in those frames, you will have this warning message.

As motioned earlier, if there are objects in frames you want to delete, objects in those frames will be deleted as well. We recommend you finish frame editing before the object editing. If you have to edit frames after you add an object, you need to re-add objects after editing frames.

Extending frames is a little different than other frame editing features. Extending Frame will repeatedly copy the selected frame and paste it for amount of times you select. In other words, If you extend a frame for 5 seconds, the selected frame will display for 5 seconds.

In order to extend a frame, select a frame and right click on the selected frame and select Extend Frame. You can also select Extend Frame from the Edit menu. Upon clicking the Extend Frame, you will see this window. You can enter a number between 1 and 60 seconds.

Please note that if you have a narration recorded on selected frame, the narration will play repeatedly for that extended period of time that you have selected.

If you copy or cut frames and paste them, objects on those selected frames will be deleted. When you're editing, edit frames before you insert any objects to the movie.
