If you’re using Windows Media Player as your default media player or you wish to record a movie file from your web browser, Window Frame mode is highly recommended. If you choose the Window Frame mode, use the Select button to choose the frame you wish to record. Just roll your mouse cursor over the window you want, click on it, click “Record,” and you’re done. When you roll over the window, you will notice that the window frame is highlighted with a black border (as shown in the picture below.)

If the area you want to record is selected, left click on it. Your selected frame will be highlighted in pink with coordinates. If the wrong area is selected, you can click the Select button again to reselect the area. Now just click the Record button to start recording.
