Microphone Setup
Microphone Setup will help you to choose the right device used to record sound from the microphone. Before selecting the device, please make sure.
- To close all programs that are using an audio or video device.
- Your microphone and speakers are properly connected to your computer and that the volume is on.
1. Start speaking into your microphone and select the devices one by one from the Devices box.
2. If when the proper device is selected you will see sound waves moving in the Show Wave box, this means that this is the proper device to use to record sound. Once you have found the device, click the Change button to save the settings.

You may see waves from more than one sound device, depending on your sound card. We recommend you choose the device with the largest sound waves. Generally, device names starting with Mic or Microphone are the best for recording sound. |
